DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER For my daughter's 19th birthday, I searched for a hibachi/sushi place. In all of LR/NLR, Maumelle, Jacksonville, Conway, and Cabot, no other hibachi/sushi place rated as high as this place. Here are the reasons why: 1. The amount of food for the price is crazy. They pack those white containers SO FULL you can barely close the lids! 2. The staff are so unbelievably friendly! 3. Everything on the menu is fantastic! 4. There is no other restaurant with more favorable reviews than this place. Don't second guess it, give it a try!
It's funny they are located in an old diner, definitely not like any other Japanese restaurant. The guy taking our order was also super sweet, and best of all, they played Christian music inside! The food was immaculate, especially for the price. We got the triple combo, seaweed salad, gyoza, dragon roll, and eel nigiri all for $50 with tax. Least to say, we were more than satisfied with the service and meal. We don't live here just passing through, but now I kind of do wish we lived here, lol. Thanks for a yummy meal

My daughter lives close to this place & we try to eat there every visit from Texas. The serving sizes are huge & the food is always very good! We have had several different sushi rolls, a sushi bowl & several types of hibachi. We have loved it all. The hibachi is big enough to share. Sooo good!
Not impressive inside, but totally worth it. The prices are great and the food portions are large. Each hand roll comes with 2 hand rolls. The steak chicken and Shrimp hibachi was enough food for two. The flavors were good. I'd preferred a bit more sauce. But it also came with a side of sauce. Highly recommended. Musubi spam was also good. The spicy tuna isn't very spicy. Add some wasabi.
I ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised! The meat was cooked well, and veggies/shrimp were fresh! The fried rice was nicely seasoned, not too salty.
This restaurant is great for what it is. Everything is served in disposable cartons whether dining in or takeout. The food is very good and portion sizes are extremely good for the price, which is very reasonable. Many, many people are ordering takeout and there are a lot of Door-Dashers and Bite Squaders coming and going. It's not quiet in here, but not unbearable. The employees smile and are polite...they like what they do and are good at it. If you want a local place to eat where you can dress casual, feel comfortable, be treated kindly and politely and get good food at a great price, this is your place. Obviously, I highly recommend.
